Handmade Antique Spool Lamp Base
This Lamp stand is unique and every one is made to order so despatch times could be up to 2-3 weeks. The wooden spools or bobbins, which were originally made to manage the miles of thread and yarn that mills would use to make cloth and fabric, are now transformed into lamp bases by none other than Mandy’s husband Phil who is a craftsman in his own right.
Phil has lovingly transformed the original spools that are 7 inches tall and three inches wide into beautiful lamps by adding a 4.5 inch red hand painted wooden base for stability along with the flex, plug and fitting so all you have to do is add the shade and a bulb.
