Block Size 6 x 6ins.
Cut your backing fabric to 7½ x 7½ ins

I am sure, like a lot of you if you sew, you tend to have dabbled in all aspects of making and dressmaking is definitely one of them. I made virtually all my children’s clothes when they were young and now with the delights of grandchildren I can once again have fun with mini garments. One of my favourite pattern Brands is Merchant and Mill, do check them out.

This love of dressmaking must have rubbed off because one of my beautiful daughter did a degree in Fashion and now works for Stella McCartney!  We bought her a vintage dressmakers dummy when she did her degree I now use it to hang my necklaces hats and scarves on.
