July 2022 - Ladybird, ladybird
Welcome to July’s block! Summer is here, the heatwave is here! We are staying cool in the shaded workshop, aren’t my girls lucky! They sometimes even get an ice lolly delivered to them by my Phil!! This month your rhyme is ‘Ladybird, ladybird’, a cute little song that we often still hear children chant when they find a ladybird in the garden and set it free. We have learnt that ladybirds are not only seen as lucky but also a real help to gardeners and farmers too!
