The Village Quilt Embroidery Machine File
This design is from one of Mandy’s Village Quilt and contains 12 seperate embroidery designs. The pattern to make this is available in our main shop. You could also make these as a cushion or a hoopie!
This download is a zip file containing a DST, VP3, VIP, JEF, HUS, EXP and PES, if your embroidery machine requires a different format please contact us and we can try to send an alternative.
This is set to fit a 200mm x 200mm universal square hoop. Not all machines allow editing or resizing.
The stitch length is set to 2.2, to create a more hand sewn look and although we like to hand embroider on linen, the machine embroideries tend to work better on a cotton or calico which has a tighter weave.
We use a Madeira thread (colour 787) for the closest match to our usual DMC coton a broder (colour 815), and a standard cotton for the bobbin. Of course you can use whatever you like!
