Antique Spool Lamp Base
These Antique Spool Lamp Bases are unique and every one is handmade to order. The wooden spools or bobbins, which were originally made to manage the miles of thread and yarn that mills would use to make cloth and fabric, are professionally transformed into lamp bases by Mandy’s husband Phil who is a craftsman in his own right.
Phil adds a 4.5 inch red hand painted wooden base for stability and of course, the flex, plug and fitting so all you have to do is add the beautiful shade and a bulb. The finished base is 7 inches tall.
