Mandys Hand Luggage
This delightful red spotty suitcase is filled with all Mandy’s favourite tools - anything she can’t live without - and maybe you won’t be able to either!!! This box is worth over £100!!!! Contents will vary from the picture shown.
· Cotton Reel Sewing Roll. Such a sweet little ditty and perfect to hold your thread and needle while on the move.
· Tin pin cushion kit. Designed to hold the clips and buttons, sweets and treats and then needles and pins. Quick and easy to make.
· Best Press starch. Just lovethis product, smells good, no clogging or flaking. I always gently starch fabric before piecing.
· Klasse scissors. Lovely little red sharp scissors, in our lovely red!
· Flower head pins. If you love Redwork, like I do, these pins are great for pinning your transfer to your fabric before you iron. You can iron over the heads!
· Fabric glue pen. Dries clear and water soluble, perfect for sticking fabric, especially English piecing.
· Iron on transfer pencil. Perfect for transferring designs onto fabric. Please note the pencil does need to be sharpened regularly.
· Air erasable pen. Always be aware of these types of pens as they can later re appear, but I find them invaluable when I need to fill in a transfer that I can’t quite see. Frixion pens work well, but we no longer sell them on the website, Tesco or Amazon sells them cheaper than we can buy them!!!
· Chenille needle size 24. The perfect size needle to use with our Coton a broder thread for sewing Redwork.
· Thread holder. Wrap you thread around this to keep your threads tidy. I open out the thread into a circle, pop it on my wrist and wind the thread onto the holder.
· Wonder clips. Cannot live without these, I use them as I would use pins.
· Seam Ripper. The perfect seam ripper ergometrically designed and a delight to use.
· Cotton a broder. The perfect thread to sew Redwork.
· Keyring Ends. Ideal for making your very own keyring with those gorgeous bits of tape and ribbons you love but weren’t sure what to do with!
· Wooden Awl. Mandy favourite tool for feeding fabric through on the sewing machine!
